Our first night in Telluride and looking for an early dinner we encountered some folks coming out of La Cocina de Luz who told us that it was very good. So we gave it a try. Quesadilla for our 8 year old, enchiladas for me, and burrito for my wife....accompanied by superb fresh juices (carrot-beet is a great combination) and smoothies. Homemade ice cream is available in little pints - the mint chocolate chip with real mint is incredible. You bus your own dishes, which I think is a perfectly acceptable way to keep restaurant costs down, and the prices are quite reasonable for Telluride. Everything tasted great, and we took the leftovers back to our condo for the next day. Now we have to go back for the yummy-looking breakfast.
