Honga's is top notch and a steady and very reliable performer in Telluride. We've been customers for over ten years and have never been disappointed. Great sushi and pan-Asian dishes, and a great wine list. This is not your choose one from Column A and one from Column B place. Great place to people watch too.

Overall, our meal was pretty awful. My $22 Thai green curry with chicken had acceptable -- not great -- flavor, but had numerous inedible items in the dish. I was unable to identify these items, one may have been a radish of some sort, the others may have been items meant for flavoring and not for eating, but it was simply inexcusable that these items were served. To have to pick through your bowl and nibble items first to see if they could be eaten is just wrong.

My girlfriend's $25 fried rice with beef had ok flavor, but the beef was tough and flavorless. If the dish had cost $8, it would have been just ok, but at $25, that is simply unacceptable. Her ginger beer also was $5 (a bottle of soda for $5!). I understand restaurant markup, but that is ridiculous. And combined with the crappy meal, it just added insult to injury.

One appetizer, two entrees, one cocktail and one soda cost $100 with tax and tip. And it was easily the worst $100 meal I have ever had. I will not be back.

OK. This is sushi in Telluride. The restaurant is beautiful and immaculately clean. The wait staff is professional. The price is reflective of the quality. We loved this place and ate every bite of food...sushi, soups, childrens meals...all perfectly prepared and presented. You don't come to Telluride to get "acceptable" quality; you come here for organic, freshly made, non-chain and locally-owned restaurants. This place is great.

This restaurant is busy/bustling. They serve a variety of Asian food, from noodles/pad thai to pot stickers, to Pho, to sushi. Food was all good quality, and service was good. A very good place to visit for Asian food in a nice atmosphere. We had 2 children with us and noticed many other patrons had children along, as well.

When we arrived without reservations we were quickly provided seats in the bar on the lower level. The friendly and accommodating staff gave us the option to dine at a small table in the corner, a very acceptable offer. The appetizer (tempura) was accompanied by a flavorful soy based sauce. The vegetable and shrimp were cooked perfectly and were served in an attractive presentation. The main course (Pad Thai) was unlike any we had experienced before (much more liquid...almost a soup-like consistency) and we were unsure if we were going to like it, but I found myself wanting a spoon to finish the spicy sauce after the noodles disappeared. Nice folks. Great food!
