We ate here three times as we liked the simple but excellent menu and atmosphere. Meals were healthy and satisfying and extremely good value

Watched Beyonce's half time Super bowl show as Baltimore won the super bowl. Food was excellent service was quick and the neat thing about this restaurant as you walked to the rest rooms that seemed 1/4 mile away you passed through a leather goods store that made you fell like John Wayne would have been proud to shop at.

We had a good dinner here on a Saturday evening. It was a nice atmosphere because it wasn't too crowded or noisy (as many places in Telluride are during the busy times). The food was very good and reasonably priced. Steak, seafood, salads -- plus some other choices. Not an extensive menu, but something for everyone. Even a basic kid menu with bargain prices. Would highly recommend. The back part of the restaurant is a great store too.

This is potentially an interesting place, a bar and restaurant that also sells western clothing, jewellery and hats. However I'm afraid our experience was not a good one. The waitress seemed a little overcome by our party of six, the service was slow, and orders were incorrectly taken. When the meals arrived, we found food was poorly cooked and delivered in a kind of haphazard manner. Perhaps the management are over reaching their abilities in trying to make this into a restaurant, and should stick to drinks and leather, surely a more cohesive combination.

We enjoyed dinner at the Appaloosa Café. Very nice, relaxed environment, friendly and attentive service, and our food was delicious. I had Filet mignon with blue cheese, my husband had a rib-eye steak, and we shared a scrumptious cheesecake dessert (beautifully served with raspberry glaze, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). The prices here are much better than the other restaurants offering good steak in town, and I can't imagine there was a quality difference, as this was wonderful! highly recommendable. Wine list was somewhat limited, but we chose an easy-to-enjoy Avalon cab-sauv. All in all, I'd go there again.
