Description: Affectionately known as B-I-T, the Bakery is Telluride's favorite spot for fast breakfast, sandwiches, pizza, and modestly priced dinner. The Five year old building is 1/2 block south of Main Street at 127 S. Fir. Look for the big red warehouse building. We're fast, and can handle everyday needs and the crowds during the big festivals in moments. Thanks to all for the kind reviews. We read every one and make frequent improvements from your comments.

“Killer croissants!”
Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

After spending a week in Telluride we discovered Baked just beyond the gondola at the base of the mountain. It's the perfect place to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes. They have a number a freshly baked stuffed croissants that are ridiculously delicious. Get there early because they sell out quickly!
They also have a huge selection of doughnuts, pastries, cookies and breads to choose from, as well as sandwiches and soups. I didn't get a chance to try anything else, as I couldn't wait to get a warm croissant each morning. My husband got a knish that was a little different than the knishes were used to in NYC but I have so I like it even better!
This place has something for everyone.

“Mellow sunny local scene but food is not amazing”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

You'll be very excited when you see the array of baked goods, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Ultimately, though, the pastries are on the dry side and the bagels are just so so. It's so nice to sit in the sunny dining room, and it's full of locals. You feel so relaxed you could sit here all day. And the staff is very friendly. I love going to Baked in Telluride but the food just isn't terrific.

“Breakfast sandwich leaves much to desire”
Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

Walked here for breakfast this morning as it was open the earliest. The gal working was not overly friendly and as she had to stop stocking the doughnuts to answer our questions & take our order it seemed like a real inconvenience. There are rows of wrapped pre-made sandwiches, I chose the bacon and egg. The bacon was undercooked and the bagel was hard & dry. I chose not to finish it so I opted for a doughnut at the end which was actually pretty good.

“its just a bakery”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Don't listen to all the reviews. Its just another bakery with nice baked goddies. Nothing special about it. The breakfast items are pre made, no requests and if you ask for a sandwich is cold. The coffee was good. Service was unfriendly, despite that is dominated by Latinos and we ARE Latinos too. Not a big deal for breakfast go there best for a midday snack and coffee. Baked pastry was good.
