We've been here several times on different vacations. Food is consistent and good. I can't say much for their staff…I can't say it any similar than attitudes and snobs. If you can ignore them, you'll have a decent lunch or dinner.

I went there twice. THe first time we had pasta, a simple pasta with tomato sauce. It was perfect.
The pizza was just ok.
Service is good.

We loved the There Bar. We went with our kids ages 8 to 15; clearly the small plates were sort of a challenge as evidenced by the entree best consumed by our 8 year old ($35 Kobe beef). But the more mature among us loved the chance to try the Elk lettuce wraps, the curry chicken on flatbread, sashimi nachos; we even ordered a whole fish entree (delish) and the ramen soup (a real hit).
THe key here is when to arrive. if you're ok with coming in, standing around being social and enjoying the great drinks and small plates, any time is probably ok. We came in at 6:15 as a family of 7 and snagged a primo spot at a table at the front of the small sized restaurant and were really happy with the scene and the food. We would go again any day. Loved our waitress, btw, who we saw a few days later in civilian clothes at the bakery and then driving away in her snow buggy. The kids were thrilled. She took her work seriously but with pleasure.

In my opinion, this place is in the top 5 of places to eat in Telluride. The food is incredible, and they have great, personal service. The dining experience is diminished by the close quarters. Folks, in Telluride, dining space is at a premium - just ask people there about how hard it is to get a table ANYwhere. So, most popular eateries are overly-crowded, and this Bistro is no exception. The guests are packed in like sardines, and I mean tight. It's a bit better here in the Summer when they have patio seating, but even that is still crowded. So, when you eat here, just know that you'll be sitting very close with other guests, so make the best of it and fire up a conversation with the guest next to you!

But, despite this, the food here is really, really good. Be sure to ask them about unique, specially-made liquors. They make their own Limoncello, and I think a small glass of it will run you about $5. Their pizza is delicious, and has a nice, crockery crust that was awesome. We had a salad made with cabbage and apples that was outstanding. It came with candied walnuts and a delicious balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The wine list was average, but a good glass of Italian wine here will run you about $11, which is consistent with the rest of Telluride.

All in all, I give this little bistro a thumbs up. One thing of note was the excellent service. Our waiter was really good, and he added a nice smile to great personal service, which we appreciated.

Looks a little funky from the outside but has great food and service. Good veal and pasta dishes.
