This is some of the best Thai food outside of Vegas at Lotus of Siam-one of the top in the country.
The dishes were all flavorful and spice right-you can feel safe ordering "hot" and it's still very flavorful and not too spicy.
The hand rolls-in all different varieties; we had three types- all delicious. The mains were equally as tasty. There's live music and it's a very comfortable space. We sat at the bar, but it was very enjoyable and cozy. Service great. So many tasty options on the menu-I have to go back this wknd and try some more. THAT good. Go, NOW! They take reservations despite what it says on the website. Expect a wait otherwise...worth it

We were told by a local that Siam has a special menu from 5-6 pm, if you eat on the porch. It's cheaper than the regular menu, but still pricey for Thai food. As a bonus, they have live music on the porch. Get there early because it is small, and fills up fast.

We were in Telluride 8 nights last week and ate here two evenings. We love the food here! We started with steamed and fried dumplings for the first time. We really enjoyed the fried dumplings. Both of us had the boneless crispy duck. One of us got the Choo-Chee Curry sauce and one of us got the basil sauce. We both liked the Choo-Chee Curry sauce the best. The second night, we got the crispy duck and Thai Garden stir fry and split it between ourselves. We loved having the stir fry less spicy along with the spicy Choo-Chee Curry sauce on the duck. A wonderful tasting meal both times. We always come within the first hour of them opening, so we don't have to wait. If you come later in the evening, expect to wait, although you can call ahead and you can also do take out which I see lots of people do. Food here is great. They have a small patio also, if you like to eat outside with live music.

We also went to Siam's Talay Grille after they opened it with a full menu at the end of the week last week. This restaurant is one they opened in Mountain Village. We were very disappointed with our visit there. I was expecting the same menu, so I was disappointed to see that the two restaurants do not have the same menu. Talay Grille has tapas and some seafood dishes ala carte. We ordered some tapas--lettuce wraps with shrimp or scallops and a few other items. They were good tasting, but you would have had to have ordered SO many to fill up. We left with a big bill and still hungry. We ended up going somewhere else right afterwards to get full. We would not go back here, unless they change their menu to the Telluride's location menu.

We were very pleased with the food here. Some of the best Thai food we have had. They also had a good guitar player entertaining us on the outside patio. Service was also very good. You won't be disappointed.
