Yum yum yum. We arrived at the restaurant planning to have a sumptuous meal, and we weren't disappointed. Started with fresh baked rolls (we had rosemary and italian cheese) and the chef's amuse bouche (root soup) and then we had scallops and corn/green chile chowder for appetizers. The menu changes with the seasons and there was a long list of untraditional meat choices, including elk and wild boar. The constant, filet, was like butter -- simply amazing. Dessert was phenomenal, topped with homemade ice cream.
They have an incredible wine list. If it's a quiet night, ask the enthusiastic host for a visit to the wine cellar...!
The view is fantastic if you can manage to be seated against the windows facing the mountains and nordic trails. You can watch the colors change as the sun sets.
