So glad I made dinner reservations for this Saturday night before Super Bowl. The place was packed with a long waiting list for seating. Lots of different menu choices. The two appetizers we selected - the breaded fried mushrooms w/ bleu cheese sauce and the artichoke dip with fried potato chips were wonderful. Although our party of five enjoyed our entrees (the Shotback Bison was a hit), the restaurant was out of their 14oz rib eye special. The second choice of beef tenderloin was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The chicken fried chicken with the mac & cheese side was very good.We weren't impressed with the New England Clam Chowder - not a lot of clams and the soup almost had a flavor of ham in it. The lemon garlic salad dressing for the dinner salad was refreshing and different. We split two orders of coconut cream pie for dessert and were very glad we didn't each order one. The portion was huge! The delicate flavor of coconut and creamy texture was perfectly accompanied by freshly whipped cream. Our waiter, Kyle, was personable, helpful and efficient, It was a wonderful and relaxing dinner experience. I would return here in the future.
