This is not the fanciest in the Boat, nor the newest, but it is very comfortable. Suite 302 has a great view of the mountain, gas fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen. The jetted tub is particularly appreciated after a day on the slopes. Note if you are particularly temperature sensitive, there is no A/C. That should not be a problem, as the days you need A/C here are few and far between, just be aware.
The shuttle service to town and the slopes is prompt and reliable. Note, however, that the walk to the Gondola Square is about three minutes tops. I ate lunch in the unit and then went back to the slopes each day.
The staff and management are first rate, very friendly and accommodating.
With 200 nights every year at a Marriott, I can say that I had my suspicions of anything with a Wyndham name on it. I was pleasantly surprised.
P.S. Steamboat Springs is a special place. If your spouse does not ski, there is plenty to do. If you don't hit the downtown restaurants, many of which are first class (Bistro C.V., Low, etc.) you are missing out on a foodie mecca. Yoga, horseback riding, snowshoes, snowmobile, etc.
