Recommended by a fellow guest at our resort who raved about the spaghetti and meatballs which were excellent. Lasagna ok, veal Marsala could've been better, a little bland, pasta over cooked, meat cooked ok but wish it had been a little more tender. Presentation was excellent, and the sautéed spinach was very good. Sautéed calamari appetizer was also excellent. Desserts were good and nicely portioned and priced. Server was very polite and attentive. Pace of meal was perfect. Nice atmosphere even for families. Big plus, wine was at proper temp, slightly cool. Make a reservation, you'll need one!

My friend and I tried the Elk sausage appetizer- awesome!! She had the salmon over some pasta and I had the eggplant dinner, sort of like a tartine, not parmigiana. I am from New York and do not eat out Italian unless i know the place, so I cannot comment on things like pasta and sauce. They did come over with freshly grated cheese and the bread was hot and great and served with olive oil.
A word of advice, they do have espresso, but DO NOT ORDER IT- IT DIDN'T EVEN TASTE LIKE STRONG COFFEE.. maybe they don't know what espresso is. They did try, putting the slice of lemon with it, so i drank it b/c i needed some steam to go to the bar down the street..... would eat here again.

Big wine list and very courteous staff.
Family owned, and owner walks around to tables and checks on you!

I had no idea spaghetti and meatballs could be this good - without a doubt, the BEST I've ever had! My wife had the chicken fettuchini - it was great too! Nice atmosphere.

Spectacular mussels - oh just thinking about them! Order the white sauce, lots of bread, eat at the bar with a glass of chardonnay - awesome! The salmon, salad served family style at the table - order more, you won't be disappointed - and the pasta dishes are excellent. Friendly, professional wait staff and they give a generous local's discount. Look for coupons cause they know how to market to get folks in the door, plus they have a big room upstairs for large parties and special gatherings.

We eat at Riggio's nearly every time we visit Steamboat. It's our favorite Italian restaurant in town. Food is tasty and service is friendly. Their house salad is fresh and very good (even for those of us who don't love Gorgonzola cheese which comes in their dressing).
