We only went for drinks, but we loved the bartender. He was willing to help us figure out new drinks, socialized with us, and even divided up the tab of a large group with no complaints! :)

We were here on a slow night. The food was ok, typical bar food. Our server was great, we enjoyed him. Good location, close to condos. Worked well for us. Might have enjoyed it more if we were out for a night of drinks.

We use to love this place, but had dinner there last night. I can't believe how bad the food was - OK, the wings were OK - but the burgers and catfish were awful. How on earth can they ruin french fries - they were so over fried - not burned, but were an odd greasy potato chippy kind of texture. The wait staff was ok. The place just seems dirty and run down. I think the owner should be watching what is happening in this place - they have to be loosing a bunch of money and customers. They should consider having one of those secret diner shows from the food network come in and watch the place for awhile. Seems like it is just a place to drink shots now. The bartenders looked like sloppy bouncers - not too terribly professional. It is too bad because the food, service and cleanliness use to be at a much higher standard.

Used to be one of our favorites but with the complete lack of service and new limited menu, it's now off our list. On our last visit we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for food that never came and we finally left. No apologies from our waitress either. Repeated calls to manager / owner Jim were never returned and not on site the evening of our dinner that we never had. Sad to say, we are never going back.

Each year we visit Steamboat we find our way for a lunch at least one day to Tugboat. This year was no exception. It was late lunch, but still busy and our waiter's first day. The food was fine, but the kitchen was very, very slow. Our waiter continued to apologize for the slowness. We still enjoyed our lunch and will return on our next visit to Steamboat. (We do avoid going in after skiing as it is too crowded and loud for us!).
