I went two times when I was in Steamboat. While the menu is not expansive, the two entrees (trout and beef tournedos) were fantastic. Also had the peanut butter truffle for desert and it was incredible. The place is extremely busy, so go early unless you have reservations (they were booking one week in advance when I visited). The place has a mix of locals and tourists, and I had a great time chatting in the bar area.

We (my husband, myself and our adult daughter) recently visited Steamboat Springs and ate one night at Mahogany Ridge Brewery and Grill. The food was very tasty, and we all enjoyed the special dipping sauces that come with the various meals! We were surprised that you have to pay for bread as an appetizer, but it was still very good and worth it!

When in Steamboat Springs head downtown to the corner of Lincoln Ave and 5th street to this fine brew pub. It is setback from the street so it is easy to miss but don't miss it. There were 6 of us that headed to the restaurant on a Friday night .... with reservations (recommend you have them). We had to wait just a bit but that was ok as there are plenty of beers to choose from. Once seated there was something for all in our party, Yellowfin tuna to Blackend Salmon Noodle Bowl to Colorado Lamb. If you want your meal a little different than whats on the menu they graciously will accomodate. The kids loved the Mahi Mahi Fish n Chips. Great service and food in a casual atmosphere.

Chose this place because it was one of the top-ranked restaurants in Steamboat. Got there at about 6pm without a reservation. The place was completely packed and they told us the wait would be about an hour, but if we could find space in the extremely crowded bar area, we could eat there. We jammed into a corner of the bar and about 15min later were seated in the actual dining room. The place cleared out relatively soon after that to a normal level of crowding.

This restaurant serves their own beers, which are decent, but nothing overly exciting. We tried the Brown Ale and the Scotch Ale, both of which were extremely mild...to the point of being a bit on the bland side. We also tried the Smoked Porter, which seemed to get their "smokey" inspiration from an ashtray instead of a fireplace or smoked barrels, which is closer to what we're used to for smoked porters.

We both had the buffalo strip, which was pretty good, but again, nothing especially unique or exciting.

Overall, not really a foodie destination, but probably one of the better restaurants in town.

We loved the place and can't wait to head back there the next time we are there. We sat at the bar and met some nice folks from out of town. Great cocktails, attentive bar staff and wonderful menu.
