“Good but prices keep going up”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

I have been going tot he Cantina for years as we are frequent visitors to steamboat springs. The food is always excellent but there prices continue to go up and we are unlikely to come back in the future as the value just isnt there. Entrees are around $15+ which is a little steep for a family mexican resturant. If price is no object than this is your place, for us we will be visiting the other mexcican restuarnts in town.

“Good Food and Margaritas”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2012

The margaritas are worth the visit to this restaurant. It's a great local spot to stop and relax with fresh chips and salsa, and a cool drink. It's perfect for families. No fluff here, just good Mexican food.

“Good food, excellent service!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

We were in town for some pre-season backcountry skiing and decided to return here for dinner. We were here several years ago during ski season and had to wait for an hour for a table, not so this time! We were seated right away, and our meal quickly arrived. Good chips and salsa, and the fajitas were spiced just right. Excellent waitress, Nicole? Very pleasant and was able to sell us some salsa even though it's not offered on the menu. Margaritas had a bit too much lime, but that is more of a personal preference. Definately worth a try if you are in Steamboat!

“Nothing Special”

Good for filling the tummy, but I wouldn't expect much in atmosphere or food. Service is fine. Good for families.
