We absolutely loved the golf course! Magnificently manicured and maintained. Challenging links style course. The clubhouse is gorgeous and the food was great!

Thank you for the nice review. The nightly specials are all popular, delicious and a great value. Yes, the all you can eat Fish Fry is one of my favorites, too. Thank you and we hope to welcome you again in the near future.

Thsi course is challenging, regardless of how it looks. There are no flat surfaces near the holes, so the ball either rolls into the hole or out and past it 10 feet away. The clubhouse gave my buddy ladies clubs too and didn't change them out til the turn, only offering him half off. Bad pr.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Haymaker is a forgiving course for its wide and open fairways and true greens. To your point, without a doubt has Keith Foster designed some challenging greens. As to your club selection, we are deeply sorry for the misunderstanding and how we handled it at the turn. Please allow us to make this right for you if you wish to contact Tom Taylor, our Head Golf Pro.

We dined three times during our two week vacation at the club house and it was worth the trip. The hostess, the servers and the atmosphere was wonderful and the nightly specials couldn't be duplicated in town. An example of the specials: double burgers with fries $5.00 one night and a great night to go was Fridays when for about $l0.00 all the fish you can eat and it was fried but delicious. The dining room has a beautiful view of mountains and the course and they take reservations!! This restaurant is a must when in Steamboat and it's on the main route about 3 miles from town.

There really was not anything to dislike. It is a fun links course with forgiving fairways and some fast but fun greens

Thank you for playing our Haymaker golf course. We are glad to read your review. Our native areas are indeed 'native' and hence challenging. Ask us about our native rules, so that you don't have to play our of the high grasses.
We appreciate your great comments. We hope to welcome you again soon.
