We had dinner here on the busy July 4th weekend. Our waiter charged me for my beer but never brought it to me. We finally had to walk into the bar to ask for our beers. There were several other error in service after waiting a long time to be acknowledged. However the food was very good. The Mezze plate was plentiful and lasted another 2 meals for me. My friend loved her salmon.

Second visit, the first being soon after they opened. They have really stepped it up - more menu items, bolder flavors and some changes one lay out and decor. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was the highlight. We had the fresh fish, and the burger with the sweet potato fries (oh my god!). Everything was great. For dessert, we took home the cake and berries, which was also really good. If you have not been, please try this newish restaurant - it is a great addition to the town's offerings.

We ate out side next to the river and mostly we just ordered the burgers. They are huge and very tasty.

This place has gone through changes over the last five years, but it keeps improving. There are few places as nice to sit in the summer as under the big trees in the back, along the Yampa River. Select salads and light lunches are all I've had, but I hear good things about dinner too.

Don't let the looks of this place keep you from trying them out. The service was very good and the staff are very knowledgeable about food concerns (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian). The menu changes based on what veggies are in season in their garden. The food is made fresh so there is not a HUGE selection to choose from compared to other restaurants. If you are willing to venture out and try something new, this is the place to do it.
Portion sizes are comparable and so is cost, especially if you can get the Happy Hour meal special before 6pm.

The downfall...this is an old house that has been converted into a restaurant, so the dining room is small and the tables are close. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, this place is great. but if you want a private conversation, not so much.
