You have to try the truffle fries when you visit, they are to die for. Great wine list, spectacular food. A Steamboat must!

“Great food”

The French fires with truffle oil were even better than the sweet potato fries. The mussel appetizer good and plentiful as well as the gazpacho soup. The view is nice from the deck on a warm evening.

“Check the menu before you go”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at The Truffle Pig. There weren't many people in the restaurant, considering it was a Saturday night. Most patrons were seated on the patio, which is very nice, with lovely views of the ski area. My husband had the salmon; and I ordered the beet salad, adding grilled chicken. The food was tasty. The only thing that comes with the meal is herb flatbread. Portions were perfect if you're not a big eater; no need for takeout boxes. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get; that's why I suggest looking at the menu first. Desserts are $9 apiece, so we went elsewhere. Apres ski/happy hour prices are discounted.

“Ehh!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

Limited menu that is pricier than the food reflects. We did Salmon, Scallops and flank steak. All good but , not equal to the other ratings. Beet salad lacked chararacter and beets.
We asked the waiter ( who proudly announced he was real familiar with the wine list ) for a suggestion of a mid priced red wine... $90 dollars is mid priced
