We took a day off skiing snowmobiled,then went to the tubing hill,followed by the sleigh ride dinner. Their was 7 kids in our group and it was the highlight of our trip.Their snowmobile trails are the best groomed I have ever been on. The tubing was GREAT!!!!! The sleigh ride is nice short moonlight trip to a buffet style dinner at the lodge whicch is very good. The Iacovetta family are true cowboys and a real working ranch family. They compliment the nice atmosphere of Steamboat. So much better than Vail,Aspen or Telluride.

Saddleback Ranch was absolutly amazing! I went with my family and and another family and we had the time of our life. We have two teenagers and they had a ball. It was the highlight of their trip. The sleigh ride was very nice and it wasn't to long, so you didnt get very cold. It had very friendly cowboys driving the sleigh up to the most beautiful cabin you will ever go in or visit! The food was delicious, the steak, I must say I have not had one like that in a while! The rest of the food and the dessert was also very very good! The entertainment was also very fun, it included roping a fake horse and dancing! What a blast and the family that runs it could not be nicer, friendlier or more welcoming! I recommend to everyone that you visit Saddleback Ranch at some point while you are visiting Steamboat Springs! It is a must see experience!

A real old fashioned sleigh ride with Percheron type horses, cattle dogs, cowboys driving the sleighs, moonlit trails through the snowy hills to a little ranch. The ride was about 20-30 min. which was about the right length for the cold and kids. Ranch was cozy, food was ample and my steak was fine, my wife's pork was overcooked. Sides and salad were excellent. BYOB/W. After dinner entertainment included calf roping which was fun for all. I had a blast, the kids loved it. the usual Steamboat hospitality was ever present. Our family of 5 spent $289 including ride from hotel in town, sleigh ride, dinner, tip and return.
