“Good location, Clean rooms, Nice staff..”

Booked a last minute stay in a 1BR on the 2nd floor. Large (15+ person) hottub outside was nice, but it turned my blue swimshorts a green/grey multi color. It didnt wash out, so i through them away. Free (tip not incl.) ride to the Ski Base every 15 minutes or so. Very nice drivers. The city (free) bus stops were quite far from the resort, and in 5 feet of snow, its difficult to get to..so, we rented a car from the Airport-HDN when we arrived, so we can drive downtown, etc. If I booked this resort again, and I likely will, I will request a 3rd floor room. The rooms are poorly sound proof, and you can hear people talking next door, and people (rudely) walking in their ski boots above you! Also, the trash trucks and snow blows will give you a nice wakeup call early in the morning. If you do the "45 minute update" they will offer free lift tickets or ski rentals... we didnt have time.

Room Tip: Book a 3rd floor room

Upon arrival the staff was absolutely wonderful. Our room was not ready when we arrived and they kindly explained the situation and took steps to get us in our room as soon as possible. We own a timeshare with the property and therefore were hard-blocked into a specific room.

Though I used to stay every year, I have not able to get back to Steamboat in nearly 5 years. I honestly have to say I was a bit disappointed. I was told that a number of the rooms had been renovated. Ours was not one of them. The fireplace did not work because it was not up to code, and the room was very dated with pealing wallpaper and bubbled paint in each room.

They have a great pool/hot tub/sauna area that was a great way to relax after a day of skiing and the shuttle was so convenient. The two drivers that they have go out of their way to help you. Overall, it was a great trip, I just hope that next year, all of the units will be updated.

Room Tip: Building One has stunning views of Mt Werner, but from what I understand, is the building that has n...

Second stay--first time was as a couple in the fall in a one bedroom, and this time a three bedroom in winter as part of a family reunion. Same excellent quality we have come to expect as Wyndham owners. Heated basement parking was wonderful. Convenient shuttle service to nearby ski area provided, and as much concierge service as you wish. Only real downside is the lack of wifi, which we were told is coming in February. No complaints--would definitely stay here again!

We love our stays at Wyndham; and the Steamboat Wyndham didn't let us down. With 2 shuttles to and from the mountain, and to the grocery store - you need very little else. The rooms are clean & comfortable. We rarely heard those above us. Having a washer/dryer in our unit worked out great - always does when you're skiing. Plenty of towels, and kitchen items, including coffee & filters. Hot tub is just outside our building (#4). We'll try to stay here every time in Steamboat.

Room Tip: We had a 2 bedroom, with hide-a-bed in couch

Check in was quite pleasant, but room turned out to be quite dark and not what i would
consider 4***. There was a tub and a separate shower; however, there was not enough
hot water to use the tub. Hotel personnel were very pleasant to work with. Found it
quite strange there was so much noise in apartment above. Still am not certain if it were
new guests or the cleaning folks? It was nice to
have underground parking but I would rate the room 'average'.

Room Tip: There are many hotels in this area, so check them out and find what you want.

Wyndham and Worldmark Vacation Ownership jointly share and manage this property, so that members of both clubs (both are vacation ownership subsidiaries of Wyndham) can take advantage of the property.

Upon arrival, although our hosts were already TravelShare Elite owners, we were harassed by the "guest services desk" trying to get us to attend a presentation whereby they'd attempt to convince us to purchase even more vacation ownerwhip points. I flat-out said that I was interested, and the girl still stuck to her script. ("Would 8:30 or 10:30 be better?")

Except for that, this was a great trip. The location in Steamboat Springs is right near the base of the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort, but that wasn't important on Labor Day Weekend. There were a number of pools and spas throughout the property, which were kept clean and well-maintained.

The beds, like at most Worldmark locations, aren't GREAT but they're fine for a long weekend. The kitchens were well-equipped, with enough silverware, dishes, glassware, and pots-and-pans to accommodate the eight people staying in our unit, and the rooms looked modern and up-to-date. Internet is available through a unique ethernet-over-AC-power device where you literally plug a "brick" into the wall AC outlet, then plug your computer into the "brick" and you've got Internet access.

There is a playground, a sport court, and multiple swimming pools and hot tubs for onsite recreation, along with several community gas grills and an outdoor fireplace. I would definitely return here again for summer OR winter activities.

Room Tip: Ask for a building with a garage. You can park your car underneath your building and take the eleva...

Great place to stay for skiing at Steamboat! Shuttle every few minutes to and from slopes. Near town (but need a car). The property has the "western" feel and decor is nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are hot tubs outdoors (nice) and an indoor heated pool which we did not use.
