Great Guide (thanks Bret!)
Good Sleds (ours didn't want to start once it had warmed up--just opposite the usual for snowmobiles. Bret put lots of snow on the engine to cool it down. We got a different sled after lunch).
Incredible Scenery! Open meadows, alpine forests, high ridge riding along the Continental Divide, up hills, down hills, lots of fresh powder! Definitely made some memories on this tour.
We did the six hour tour. Four hours would be plenty, especially if you have kids/teens.
Highly recommend this outfit for snowmobiling in the Routt National Forest.
(Port-o-lets available--rustic definitely means rustic, warm wood-burning stove in the two room cabin, can use their DOT helmets and snow boots, I suggest bringing all of your own other gear, sandwich/chips/cookie/soda for lunch is included, shuttle service included if needed).

Had a great time on the two-hour ride. The stop on the continental divide was breath-taking, where we could see for miles, given the clear day.

This outfit is first-class and the scenery is unparalleled. There is only one snowmobile company that has an agreement with the Forest Service to ride and tour here and these guys are it.

They supply everything except gloves: one-piece suit, boots, helmet & goggles if you need them. We did the 4-hour tour with lunch and had a blast. Over a million acres of wilderness with breathtaking scenery to ride in - what more could you ask for?

Kids can either ride with you or if they are licensed, drive their own. My two college Freshman loved every minute of it, as did we. Great way to spend a day!
