“Best day ever!”
Reviewed January 17, 2013 via mobile

I can't say enough about how perfect our day was. We did the Rabbit Ears 4 hour lunch tour and we had the most amazing time. Matt was our guide..ask for him because he is awesome! The snow was deep in some spots, which made it that much more fun, the views cannot be beat. Also, the Rabbit Ears tour is perfect for all ages. This is the best thing we have done all week in Steamboat Springs.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Took the 4 hour guided tour with Reece. He was very patient with new riders and taught us about the 1.1 million acres we toured on January 10, 2013. Excellent tour guides and a beautiful experience. Reece even taught us about the "science" of snow and back country exploration. I highly recommend Steamboat Snowmobile Tours!

“Great Experience, Great Staff!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

After four days of skiing and snowshoeing, we decided to book a 9 AM 2 hpur snowmobile tour for New Years Eve Day. We arrived at the cabin a bit early so our guide, Brett, got us out on the trail early. We had 6 guys and one woman (me). Only one of us had ever done any snowmobiling before, but this is a group that likes adventure. Brett adapted to all of us and gave us a wonderful mix of trails and meadows.

Because of our early start we ended up with a 2.5 hour tour. Safety is clearly important, but they understand that folks are also looking for adventure and they've created a great balance. Our group wanted to go fast and Brett accommodated us within the limits of safety.

Brett was exceptional, but every member of the staff was personable and helpful. We'll be going again next year!!

“Great Views”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

They pick up as promised at our hotel. Ride up to there cabin in Rabit Ears Pass took around 30 minutes. They make you fill out waivers and you can buy damage waiver for $10 per Snowmobile. We did the 2 hour tour. We had 4 people in our party and we where put in with 3 other families. Safety was important to them. We probably average around 15 mph down the paths that they have groomed. It would have been nicer to go faster but with groups it is hard to do that. They do bring you to an open medow where you can make a circle and open it up. The snowmobile's are governed so you can not go that fast. The fumes are horrible so the 2 hour tour was all I can handle. A couple of the snowmobiles broke down on the tour. They where really fast on replacing. The views are awesome. They did allow my 11 and 13 year old drive as long as my hands where on the sterring bar with my finger on the engine cut off switch. The heated handle bars where awesome as well. My only complaint would be the fumes and lack of speed on the tour.

“More good than bad”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

They could not pick us up at our home yeaterday but today they picked up some guest next door ??!!??

They could not find the other passenger for or group. So we arrived 35 + min. late for our 9 AM tour.

The best part was there were only 6 plus the guide in our tour. They have 2 cycle snowmobiles so lots of fumes to breath.

It was very cold for the passenger behind the drive, but the guide did his best to warm up the cold hands & bodies.

It was fun & one need to like adventure & a lot of movement.

The views & the clean fresh snow was out standing.

The guide new what he was doing & really talked about safety !!!!!

The price was not bad for the 2 hr. ride.
