“Absolutely amazing!”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Today was my first day playing in snow and snow skiing! I took the never ever ski lesson with "coach" his real name is John! He was incredible! He was so very patient and really thorough! He never pushed us past our comfort zone nor did he spent too much time on things we were clearly getting. Coach was great! The snow was beautiful and the sights....oh my gosh the sights were amazing and I haven't even Been on a lift yet! I love steamboat!

“Fresh powder, easy access, just great place to ski”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Great lifts, some of the best snow in the world. So light and fluffy. Makes every body look good.

Over the past two years living in colorado we have skiied Copper, Breck, A Basin and Keystone. Steamboat Springs is better than them all. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra distance. Roads are excellent from Silverthorne thru Kremmling over Rabbit Ears pass.

“Over the hill Mtn guides are a must”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

My first trip to Steamboat (won't be my last). Great mountain with lots of varied terrain. We had snow, wind and low clouds so visibility was a challenge. Skied two days with the Over The Hill Guides who knew where to go to get out of the wind and find the best snow. We spent most of the time skiing through the trees which was awesome. We never would have known where to enter and exit the trees without the guides. The expertly managed our group of six skiers. You meet up with the guides at the base of the gondola by the statue. Once you reach the top of the gondola they will divide up the group based on skiers ability and terrain they wish to ski. The service is free and just an outstanding way to explore the best of the mountain without having to stop and refer to the trail map and hope you are making the best decisions.

“Skiing at Steamboat Springs”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Easy access to Steamboat with direct flights to Hayden from a variety of regional hubs. The skiing is incredible, with a huge variety of runs making the mountain perfect for skiers of all abilities. Even in prime ski season, the wait for a life is never more than about 5 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend this resort for families with young children.

“Best Skiing Resort”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

If you haven't been there yet for skiing, then you MUST GO there. The mountain is gorgeous both for skiing and hiking, as we'll for nature photography. The slopes are great and you can ski in the evening times during the weekends.
