Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas
Ranked #3 of 21 Hotels in Steamboat Springs
Certificate of Excellence

We stayed at the Steamboat Springs Sheraton for a weekend getaway and were very pleased. Our room was comfortable and had a great view of the mountain. We didn't notice a lot of noise, even though the hotel was reasonably full. It was a small thing, but in addition to including shower gel with the toiletries, there was also a mini pouf - a little thing, but very thoughtful. The bar downstairs (Saddles) had a decent wine and drink selection, and the balcony was a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the activity on the mountain. The game room was a fun diversion when we had a few minutes to kill, and the staff were, to a person, very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

We are owners of a timeshare at the Sheraton Vistana in Orlando, FL. We did an external exchange to this wonderful location. We had been to Steamboat in the winter but summer in the mountains is a great experience. We had one of the 3 bedroom, 3 bath villas and my only complaint is that I was told I was getting a two bedroom so we may have changed the number of people who joined us had we known the size. Huge living space, gorgeous kitchen well-appointed with quality appliances, dining table, living room with fireplace and balcony, laundry room, and the list goes on. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, always addressing me by name when I called. My only complaint was that the air-conditioning seemed to be much warmer in the area of the master suite than in the rest of the unit. When I called the front desk they sent someone up immediately. I don't think the unit was faulty; I think it may have been placed in a bad spot to get to the bedroom. Our unit was 7203. The other architectural flaw was the balcony. Because we were on the second floor and because of the roof line, we had a concrete wall rather than a railing, tho I'm not sure why that would matter. Thus, when we would sit and try to look out, all we saw was wall. We could see when we stood but not when we sat.
The location is great; steps away from the gondola which we rode up one day to do some hiking.

Room Tip: If the balcony matters, try a different room. The villa was very quiet, however, and very private.

We went on a whim for an overnight and the Sheraton was in the top reviewed properties in Steamboat. The room was as expected, a typical hotel room. The location was great and the shuttle to and from the downtown area was certainly appreciated. The staff was responsive, except for the obviously overworked maintenance man who was dispatched to our room to fix the problem with a movie we ordered. It took him over 30 minutes to get to ht room and it was clear that he was pulled of a far more pressing job. In the end, his solution would have taken too long so we just requested a credit for the movie and all was resolved. I think this would be a nice property for the ski season, if a room is all you needed.

The beds were comfortable, it was clean. The kids loved the game room in the morning. Wish the pool was warm. But overall would absolutely stay again. Close to town and the parking was easy. Staff were helpful.

What a great location. We were given a room on the 8th floor with beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There is a large gaming area in the main lobby and a nice fireplace in our room.

We stayed at the Sheraton Villas over presidents wk 2013. Wonderful accommodations, super clean (very new I believe) and our family had a great time. The service, however, could be improved. While it wasn't bad, small things like room service taking over 1.5 hours to arrive or not clearing our plates for over 24 hours were a bit troubling, especially when paying over $850/night. That said, the kids (2 and 7) loved it and we hope to return in 2014.

We had one of the 3 bed, 3 bathroom villas. It was excellent. Very big, well decorated and fabulous spa bath in the master bedroom ensuite. We all got lost in the bubbles! The ski in ski out was very good too. Pick up your skis from the ski shop (held over night for you) and off you go. The queue for the gondola was a bit ridiculous on some days but we had a good view from the breakfast area so we could pick the time to go! Skiing was awesome and the food and staff at the Sheraton were great. Loved having a drink or snack or even dinner in the lounge area facing the mountain. What a way to go!
