MotM is a small market, so the selection is limited, but it has been thoughtfully assembled. We bought all the ingredients we needed to cook five dinners, one lunch and all of our breakfasts during a week plus stay, without every going to a full supermarket. Why lose all that mountain time? We are "cook from scratch" types, and we could get a range of ingredients in smallish quantities. Cook from frozen types will also be well served. It also has a wine and liquor store.

If you are staying near the Gondola area and need something but don't feel like getting in the car, this is the place. Great deli sandwiches, etc., cheese & crackers and basic staples. Surprising variety of wine and beer and basic liquor. If you need stuff to party or entertain, you will find something to enjoy here. Yes, you will pay ski area prices - but hey, you're on vacation.

Tucked away steps from the main base gondola area, on the intersection of two main roads, and has a parking lot!. M.O.M. is a deli, liquor store, and small market. The liquor/wine is reasonable with a good selection but small. The market is a "slap your head" we need a little something and do not need to go to a big store. Freezer section, aisles of sundry items, coolers of drinks, home made desserts, newspapers, etc. Now.. the deli and food!! All salads are homemade (chicken salad, egg salad to die for), sandwiches overstuffed (get one when you're going to Gondola and eat all day) grill items hot and tasty, breakfast sandwiches, daily lunch specials, and the gourmet/homemade items are plentiful. Really a nice little location with a lot more than you would expect.

Take the extra time to go down the street to City Market.
Your wallet will thank you.
There is a reason the locals call this place " Mark-Up on the Mountain".
