Beautiful variety and well cared for gardens. Interesting pathways, a few sculptures, benches on which to sit and enjoy the views, and a beautiful pond too. Plus it's free! Can't beat that. A great place to take a picnic and enjoy the summer weather.

I walked here from my hotel in town. The path along the river goes right to this park and it's a nice little walk. The park is pretty with ponds, waterfalls, and nice flowers.

This is a little oasis in town. Nice place to just wander and sit in the shade to cool off. It is on the bike path. Amazing that it is cared for by all volunteers

When our group of 6-7 travels we enjoy seeing botanic displays, so when we saw that Steamboat has a botanic park we went. We were pleasantly surprised to see a very nice display of native plants and flowers in a pretty setting. There was a soccer tournament going on in the adjacent park so we had to park out side the Park's lot and walk, but it the traffic was low in the residential area and we made the best of it. If you like plants and flowers I recommend Yampa River Botanic Park.

It's a small botanical garden with a few park benches to relax anf enjoy the pond. We brought our lunch and enjoyed the lawn overlooking the garden.
