“Grins at Gwyns :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

We have stopped here most days for hot choccy break. Nice clean atmosphere and cookies are yummy! Also had lunch here a couple of times and I must say the best homemade soups I have tasted in a very long time had cauliflower and cheddar, and clam chowder... Pricey but what the heck you are on a mountain in the middle of nowhere so i am not complaining!! When we booked the ski tickets we were given two $20.00 vouchers for use on the mountain so they came in handy. Service was friendly and efficient. Thanks to all at Gwyns!!

“Best fine dining on the Mountain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

Once again just a great experience at Gywn's. we come here each year and it is the highlight of our ski trip. They produce consistently through the year excellent food. This is especially true when you think about cooking and serve this quality food at 9000 ft. without road access. We hope to be back next year and again.

“Outstanding breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

We got out for a couple early runs and then went in for breakfast. One special was trout benedict (eggs benedict but with smoked trout rather than Canadian bacon). Absolutely superb. hot chocolate and the rolls finished it off. Doesnt get better than that

“Worst bartender ever.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

Having been a bartender I feel confident in saying she was the worst bartender I've ever met. Even though she was in the weeds doesn't mean you can be rude to a customer. She was a good looking girl who has probably never been told no in her life. I as if she was ok because I know what it's like to be in weeds, and her response was " anymore questions?" She then proceed to ignore me and check in with everyone else at the bar. I was being very sincere and she was just a regular "See you next tues." If you are at snowmass and want to have a beer and some lunch don't go to gwyn's, unless you want to be treated like like a college kid at a dive bar with no money. Thanks for nothing.
