Have gone to Little Mammoth several times, the steaks are very good however the last time we were there the Lamb Chops turned out to be small finger food chops at very high price. The Steak on the salt block can be very, very salty if not careful.

Okay, this place is in a high-end ski resort - queue the sticker shock. However, this restaurant offers steaks that are at Peter Luger's price points but without the quality of taste, presentation and accoutrements of Luger. Some examples: no baked potatoes; no horseradish (the waiter suggested mustard?!); no hand-cut fries; no bone-in prime rib; three side dishes not available. To be fair, the boneless, dry-aged rib eye was good, but our friends mostly gave the fare a fair-to-good rating and felt that the price points were unacceptable - even given the captive-audience clientele of a ski resort. There are other much more satisfying experiences in the village. Now, how expensive? Try $290 for two people! Ruth's Chris - here we come.

Stay away from this place!! I ordered the best steak(21 day dry aged ribeye)on their menu and got food poisoning from it. We had been told that this was the best place around but it was not. The side dishes were below average. We were in Aspen for a week and this was by far the worst meal that we had.

It’s worth the drive to the Snowmass Mall for this hidden gem. We seriously had the most delicious steak we’ve had in years. We also had the fried avocado appetizer (sounds odd but it was delicious) with the poke, the warm goat cheese salad, and truffle fries with the steak. It was finished off with a homemade tiramisu.

The husband and I went here for dinner on Christmas Eve. It took 50 minutes for our appetizer to come out, but it was delish (it was the steak squares, but it was three slices of meat - not sure why it’s called squares). The trout needed some sort of sauce - it was pretty dry. Mac and cheese was delish and we got it loaded. Got kiddo carryouts of chicken fingers (battered and fried), fries and Mac and cheese - he didn’t care for the chicken. Our waiter was so nice but overall the Staff was rude and was speaking a foreign language and yelling at one another - a bad culture for sure. While our server was apologetic, they didn’t offer us anything to say “sorry” for the horrible service.
