“Small, but great”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

All I have to say is Ranger IPA and Buffalo Chili Nachos.

Oh, and the pretzels with cheese fondue and chocolate porter sauce.

The only letdown is that the time we stopped by to try the s'mores waffles they had shut the kitchen down for the evening.

“Rare beers find their way to Snowmass Slopeside”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

The Ranger Station is a great new place to hang out Apres in Snowmass. With a wide selection of beer styles from New Belgium to choose from, it is a beer lovers paradise. The Lips of Faith program of beers is constantly changing and bringing otherwise super rare/delicious beers, to this ski in, ski out hangout. Great Bison Chili breadbowls and pretzels, as well as grilled paninis. Locals specials make it the perfect lunch time beer/food recharge.

“Poor ...”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Placed in the heart of the Snowmass Mall a few steps from the slope they offer very little more than beer and hot chocolate. For long years there was the best pizza in town (Good Fellows), a terrible loss.

FIrstly, we offer way more than just (the best) hot chocolate and beer in town -- we have great food for lunch and apres, a cool and comfortable atmosphere, and live music five days a week!

Secondly, it's not appropriate that you give my new business a bad review just because you're upset that GoodFellow's retired. Judge us based on our own merits, not based on the fact that we aren't something else.

“You have to try this place!”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

Went in with my buddy Graham for a couple of beers, met the stunningly beautiful bartender/hostess Samantha as well as the owner Patrick. Terrific little place where the pizza place used to be at the snowy side of the Snowmass mall.
Cant wait to get back there!

“Great Beer good food”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We went to the Ranger Station on a Sunday night and the place was pretty crowded given the day. It is a small place , but I never felt cramped. One of us got the beer sampler, and the rest of us just tried different beers on tap. We also tried the pretzels which were good, but I like my pretzels a little more on the doughy side vs theirs which was more on the bread side. They gave you a choice of 5 different dipping sauces I think, of which you can choose 3. Service was friendly and attentive which is always a plus anywhere you go. This is a great place to grab a drink after a day on the slopes as they have a giant fire pit outside where you can sit back and rest your tired legs and drink some great beer.
