“Reasonable meal in Snowmass”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We visited The Edge for the first time this year. This restaurant is fairly new, having taken over from another establishment. The fare is good but not overly memorable. The atmosphere feels a bit common for such a winter wonderland location. The hotel in which it is housed is dated but the staff are friendly. Our service was acceptable but not overly welcoming. The cost was very reasonable compared to some other, pricier places in Snowmass.

“snowmass restaurant”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

we carried out for dinner once. the food was good and made us want to try the restaurant again. we went to breakfast once as well. that was a mistake. we were the only ones in the place, food took about 45 mins to arrive. we were not happy about that. BUT have to say, once the food did arrive, it was very good. the management said they are working out kinks. sounds like the kinks for breakfast exist, but that dinners run very smooth. hopefully they will get it worked out soon. has great potential

“Very nice evening at the Edge”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We were staying at the Timberline, and they urged us to try the restaurant. Finally we did. Caesar's salad was good (alot better than a high priced hotel nearby) The smoked tomato soup was outstanding and the entree (beef flank steak) was very good. The portion of the entree was too big to finish and the sides were excellent. We definitely will eat there again on our next visit. Recommend reservations as it filled up quickly - our reservations were at 6:00 PM

“Cozy apres ski bar”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

I stopped in here twice after skiing for an apres ski drink. It's quiet and very nice, with live music every Friday and Saturday afternoon. Other days they have half price pints from 3-6 as well as half price appetizers. Best of all, you can ski DOWN to your condo after a drink, rather than having to hike up with your skis! ;)

“Up the hill for good food - hidden gem”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We decided to find a place for appetizers and a glass of wine for dinner. Although it is not at the Snowmass Mall where other restaurants are located, it is a quick ride on Shuttle 5 up the hill to the Timberline Condominiums.
We (two of us) settled on the hummus/veggie appetizer along with a bowl of creamy tomato soup and a bowl of cauliflower soup. All items were very good and were just enough to hit the spot. There weren't many people there but we were there early. We did sit next to a couple who said they were locals and had lived there for 30 years. It's a great place to go that is not crowded and has a good food.
