Description: Executive Chef Steve Sterritt showcases a seasonal menu at The Artisan Restaurant, on the lobby level of The Stonebridge Inn. In winter, cozy up in the lounge, relax at the bar, or sit down to a casual gourmet dining experience in Snowmass. In summer, enjoy the Colorado sunshine and dine al fresco on the secluded outdoor patio. An extensive wine list, innovative cocktails, and a selection of Colorado's finest craft brews on tap compliment the menu of contemporary mountain favorites.

We had the short ribs, the Amish chicken breast and ribeye steak. All entrees were perfectly cooked and were extremely delicious. The grilled artichoke starter was yummy; the tuna appetizer was only ok, with a small quantity.
The apple crisp was to die for! The waitress was very attentive and we lacked for nothing. I would go back here.

The Artisan was our favorite restaurant during our stay in Snowmass. Food is very good and so is service. The ambiance is very relaxing and there is a fireplace in the bar area where it is possible to unwind after dinner. Definitely recommended.

While the food and service at the Artisan was perfectly acceptable, we were surprised and disappointed that our table for seven was not in restaurant. Instead, we were seated in a side event room at uneven bridge table with makeshift table cloths. There might have been a view from the restaurant, but who knows since the curtains were all closed. There are many fine restaurants in Aspen that can accommodate a party of seven. If the Artisan can not, they should have told us when we made the reservation so we could have taken our business elsewhere.

We wanted to go to Aspen for evening snack or dinner, but after a good coctail in the bar we expected more. And we 've got it ! it was perfect culinary moment in the mountains....Tip: take no antres, concentrate on main dish.

I ordered a house Cabernet and was really pleased by the quality. The ahi tuna salad was stupendous.
