I recently stayed at the Viceroy Snowmass for a conference in July. Really the photos on the website don't do it justice. I stayed in a studio room, which is the cheapest, and our conference was given exceptionally good prices. The room was outstanding!! The bathroom alone was out of this world. Not the perfect room for sharing with someone you aren't comfortable with though :) There is a door to the bathroom, but a glass wall with roll-down blind separates the bathtub from the bedroom. As long as you stay in the shower rather than bath, you would be fine though. High-end everything: LG flatscreen, lots of channels, full-size iron and board, lots and lots of closet space for hanging clothes and snowsuits in the winter, drawers under the bed, shelves and drawers in the wardrobe for clothes. Nespresso coffee maker in the room, sooo good; decaf available on request. I had a two-burner induction cook top (which means it's not hot unless a pot is on it), and all the pots, knives, cutting boards, plates, bowls, cups, etc I could want. The microwave also doubles as a convection oven. Heck, you could cook a turkey dinner if you wanted! And a grocery store is only a ten minute walk away across the highway.
I did not try the spa; however the pool is gorgeous, more pics need to be added (unfortunately I don't have any great ones). The lunch restaurant next-door, Nest, was beautiful and a very relaxing decor. Food was also great - try the Asian gazpacho :) Conference services were fantastic; the rest of service was absolutely the best I've seen. They even washed my dishes while I was out of the room (blush!). The LEED certification really shows - reusable hand towels in most bathrooms; staff hand you a stainless steel bottle upon check-in, and suggest lots of water to help with altitude (it really does, having been to Snowmass two years running). Lots of ice water available throughout the hotel helps a lot.
Finally, we ate in the hotel restaurant the first night (8K). Food was fantastic, very extensive wine list, staff so very helpful at finding us a table despite the fact that they were quite busy. Really felt appreciated.
All told, definitely the best conference hotel I've experienced, bar none! Would definitely come back.
