This is a fantastic little place, something we did not expect and left us all with out mouths hanging open (we were hungry as well ..lol). after riding our Harleys up from Santa Fe we stopped here for a good nights rest. the hospitality was impeccable, that is to say we had perfect hosts. Our group took up the entire place and we were looked after as if we were right at home.. beautiful.
The breakfast was home made and fantastic. I would really look forward to coming back again.. I would even go out of my way to do so.. perfect, fantastic experience.

plus.. Handle Bars just down the road is also memorable

I like to thank Bill and Lisa for a opening thier door on Christmas day, we visited Silverton and soon realized that everything was closed (hotels, and restaurants) but we did managed to find that Villa Dallavalle was open, they extended thier welcome to us. I soon found out that Bill was from the same town we are from (Mesquite, TX) so it is definetly a small world.. Our only regret not staying for breakfast to enjoy the breatfast dishes that we heard so much about but it was snowing heavely and needed to get back to Durango and ride the Polar Express for the kids.
So if need to stay at a great Bed and Breakfast please Visit Villa Dallavalle and see how great they'll treat you..

Want a real taste of the old wild west in the mining town of Silverton? Villa Dallavalle is your place.
It's not the Marriott, so expect simple, clean and basic Victorian but a real step back in time. A small inn like this depends on it's owners and they rise to the occasion. Bill and Lisa couldn't be more accommodating and helpful in making you feel at home. Breakfast was the complete deal everything you would want in the morning. Experience old Silverton and stay at the Villa Dallavalle.

Nice historic inn, clean, nicely decorated very small rooms upstairs, very basic shower and toilet. You can hear everything around you, from the people taking off their boots in the next room, to the kids running down the hallway at 10pm. But this isn't the kind of place to take kids! Mostly a romantic B&B for adults. Hot tub room needs major work, but it does contain a clean, running hot tub. OK breakfast, nothing special and coffee was yuck. You can take a dog for an extra $20/night. I like that though I think I would check out different B&B's in Silverton before staying here again.

Room Tip: The rooms on either end are small, but they do have very good natural light. Makes for a much cheeri...

Small (actually tiny) rooms. But I can't say enough great things about the inn and its owners. Great people, very comfortable surroundings, nice breakfast, hot showers, all around a great place. Will definitely be back! And Mimi, the owners little chiweenie dog is so dang cute!

We decided on a whim to stay a second night in Silverton and wanted to try something different than the hotel we stayed at the first night. We were immediately welcomed by the owners and given our choice of the available rooms. Our room was absolutely lovely and we were fascinated by the historic photos and family history that adorns the 2nd floor. The downstairs dining area doubles as a homey living area and you can choose a board game to play on the roomy dining room table. There is an outdoor hot tub under the deck that allows a beautiful view of the stars while at the same time protecting you from the occasional rain or sleet! Breakfast was great. Hot coffee ready early and breakfast promptly at 8. Eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, toast, jam, juice...delicious! Really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again any time we visit Silverton!

I love this boutique hotel. Yes the rooms are small but very nice. The owners are really friendly and accomodating. You can't beat Silverton for a destination and this hotel is full of it's history. I would recommend Villa DallaValle for singles or couples.
