We all had the pulled pork plate and it was great. The sides were good too and there was a variety of bottled beer to try.

It is hard to choose a place to eat in Silverton, but if you like good BBQ this should be on your list. I has a pulled pork sandwich with a side of baked beans and my boyfriend had the beef brisket sandwich. The sandwiches come with a side and a pickle, and are huge and full of delicious BBQ meats. I can't say enough good things about it. The meat was tender and flavorful, the baked beans were awesome and they give you a squeeze bottle of BBQ sauce to use at your table, which is wonderful. The cost for the sandwich was about $8, but you can get slabs of ribs and full dinners for a decent price too. If I ever go back to Silverton I will eat here again.

We stopped off for lunch on the way from Durango and Ouray, and thought this looked an interesting option. It is basically a simple diner where nearly everyone has pork. You order at the counter, pay and wait for food to be delivered. You help yourself to soft drinks (and refills). You might get a table on your own or you might share. Food s simple and plentiful. It was very busy. Ideal food, can be prepared mainly in advance, to satisfy the day visitors on the steam train from Durango.

We came upon this place while visiting Silverton yesterday. The pink car out front caught our attention and when we realized that Guy Fieri had been there, we had to try it out! We got the ribs and pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw and beans (we were also supposed to get a potato salad but they messed up that part of our to go order so we didn't get to try it). The ribs and pulled pork were both amazing! The beans were ok but the cole slaw had a wang to it so we didn't finish it all. We also got the Miss Piggy brownie and the strawberry shortcake for dessert. They were both very good! The portions were good for the price.
