I have stayed at this hotel several times now and this time was another great stay. They have upgraded the rooms. Bathrooms are a bit small but adequate. Rooms are good size with microwave and refrigerator and nice views. The property is very well located with plenty of parking and a big lobby area with a fireplace. Nice indoor hot tub and pool and old chicago restaurant on premises. Business center computers worked ok but could use an upgrade. Note : this is a pet friendly hotel. The hotel staff is very hospitable and always willing to accommodate requests. Tim, Ben, Norm, thanks for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: second floor works well 'cause one can take the stairs easily instead of waiting for the elevators.

This hotel did not meet my cleanliness standards.
Our room had food on the floor left over from past guests and I even found food on the mattress.
Both sheets and comforter had stains on them.
The communal area trash cans were over flowing with waste and were not taken out during our stay.
The free breakfast is a waffle bar, that is it. There are no eggs, no yogurt.
The hotel is dated, we had a problem with our toilet running and the bathroom area is very small.
We brought our dog, from that aspect the hotel is great. The staff were very friendly regarding dogs; there is an area right outside the front that has a picnic table and waste bags. However not many guests must have been using the waste bags, so watch your step.
I was really disappointed in this La Quinta, there are other hotels in this area and we will be staying at one of those from now on.

The evening staff are kind and friendly. The other staff has no attention to any detail and are more set on talking to their friends on the phone rather than dealing with customers right in front of them. If you like bread, this breakfast is your friend. During our stay my mom's chest was scalded with the hot water. At a location that gets a lot of snow you would think they would care about the safety of their guests getting in and out of their hotel, There was a considerable amount of ice under the overhang that noone ever seemed to take care of..

Room Tip: Rooms on the west face the mountains.
