I have ate in some of the best Mexican restaurants on the planet. If you aren't worried about the fact it is totally authentic.... decor as well as the food you will never get better anywhere. It may be different, but no way will it be better.

Fresh food made to order in a super-casual store that houses basic Mexican meats and cooking necessities as well as eating tables. Comfortable for families, couples, singles, workers, tourists, locals, and just about anyone else wanting tasty and quick Mex. fix.

A driver from Colorado Mountain Express recommended this place to me and I am glad he did! Our group of four ate for $43 including tip. We loved the food and were stuffed. It is true authentic Mexican food, not a chain restaurant. A couple of notes: 1) it has no liquor license, and 2) it is 1/4 mile north of Target on Hwy 9.

Typical Mexican food in a diner atmosphere. Friendly staff and inexpensive fare. Nothing fancy, but great rellenos.

The servers smile, and when not hustling greet you too. They are competant, and the food is superb, as is the price. Ask them, how to get individual small servings, and try out several, like soft tacos, enchiladas, whatever. My favorite is the Chile Rellanos, with all the toppings. The variety of toppings ranges from mild to hot usually, sometimve hotter and sometimes less caliente. I'm one who likes it Mexican hot. They have a new very neat avocado sauce, which is mildish.

It is cafeteria style service, not high end restaraunt, but oh, the authentic flavors, and variety fo tastes. That is why a variety of good people of the locals, come to enjoy a casual lunch.

Also check out their traditional Mexican groceries, usually fresh and not found elsewhere. The fresh garlic is a bargain, and special.

Check out the liquor mart while their, for nice choices, of a wide variety, and if you like Tequilla, make sure you try Sauza brand, by far a mellower and finer inexpensive spirit of the aloe plant, and the favorite seller by far of all of Mexico, and believe it or not, for a reason, that involves flavor.
