“WOW”

The most beautiful castle nestled in the midst of the Rocky Mountains. The building is quirky, yet sophisticated and oddly doesn't seem out of place on a ranch. The guides gave a wonderful tour and told many stories about the families who have called Cherokke Ranch home. I will definitely go back on my next trip out west

“Beautiful Location!”

I have been to many weddings at this location and they have all been memorable and elegant. I also love to go here for high tea and to tour the castle.

“1450s Scottish castle built in the 1920s”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

"Tweet" Kimball bought the castle in 1954 and filled it with her collections of European furniture and paintings. We took the tour ($15/person) which was conducted by a volunteer docent and lasted an hour-and-a-half.

Some interesting architectural features, e.g., secret cupboards and winding narrow, spiral staircases..

Plenty of parking; short hike from parking lot up to door of the castle. I didn't see an elevator and don't remember the tour guide mentioning one.
