We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Gateway Inn. It was clean - except for hangars that had about one half inch of dust on them - quiet and appeared to be updated. The TV was small by today's standards, but it had cable and the reception was excellent. There is also in-room Wi-Fi, coffeemakers and hairdryers. Some rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, but if you don't need these amenities, those without are cheaper. Our room was very small but pehaps it was because it was "basic." We were on the second floor away from the highway and it was quiet. One minor drawback is that the sink is in the sleeping area while a towel rack is in the toilet/shower room and inaccessible unless you close the door. Also, to access hot water in the late afternoon, we were told to run both the sink and tub hot water simultaneously. This took about 5 minutes and is a waste of water.
Breakfast is typical but well stocked. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful.
