Very friendly hosts. Nice room. Excellent breakfast. Close to Salida which has a great downtown with shops and restaurants. Be advised that stairs are involved if staying in the main house. Would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in the b & b for two nights while exploring Salida. The food was absolutely wonderful as were conversations around the table with two groups of interesting people. We found the hosts to be friendly but not intrusive and questions I had about the best way to travel to our next stop were answered fully. There is a nice walking path on the property as well as a longer path that takes you up and down the hills. The only (little) problem was with the showerhead which we found hard to adjust to get the right temperature of water.

This b & b was wonderful. from the robes in your room for the hot tub, the swing out back, the lovely little private porch we had in double feather bed queen room, the entire experience was memorable. the hosts were welcoming & kind, and the whole family had a great stay. the cherry on top was a great breakfast in the morning: crepe, filled with lovely eggs & potatoes, covered in bernaise sauce, accompanied by perfectly ripe cantelope. (sounds easy, but honestly, when is the last time your restaurant cantelope was juicy, not hard?!) thanks, and I highly recommend. the chalets seemed like a great idea for a group, and the fact that you can board your horses makes me want to travel with a horse. :)

Room Tip: the feather topped beds in the double queen room are super comfy! also, the bathroom is wonderfully roomy with a double headed shower!

My husband, his parents and I stayed in one of the Chalets for 3 nights. They are beautiful, clean, and have everything you need to cook while vacationing. The property is well maintained and has some extras that make it family friendly such as the horse shoe toss and the Pinon trail. We stayed the weekend of Salida's art festival and spent all day visiting galleries in town. Had a great time. Thank you Tudor Rose.

My wife (Julie) and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we found the people to be very friendly and courteous. The food was very delicious and plentiful. Also, the coffee was excellent. As for the scenery, you couldn't beat it. We also found it to be very clean, comfy ( especially the bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud, and the hot tub) and spacious, we found it to be top-notch and plan to go back on our first anniversary.
