Very homey and laid back. Pizza a bit pricey, but worth it. Minimal wait. Definately recommend for lunch.

We ate lunch here on a Thursday...the place was packed, our pizza and Headwater IPA was excellent, as was the service. We liked it so much that we came back for supper the next night. We were kinda disappointed with the Penneni(eggplant) and Calzone, which ended up being a large serving of lasagna! Not what I was expecting:( The homemade root beer was Great as was yet another IPA!! Great microbrewery, and really good pizza.

We ate at Amica's Pizza. When you come in you can order a drink while you wait, If you can't be seated right away you are given a vibrating device to tell you when your table is ready. Then you order and sit at your table until the pizza is ready which isn't a really long time. We had a #6 - Salsiccia (Pepperoni, sausage, marinara, mozzarella, diced tomatoes, fresh oregano) and a #8 - Alghero (Roasted chicken, portobello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, gorgonzola, balsamic marinaraa, mozzarella, rosemary). This place is also a micro brewery so you can have some great beer and awesome pizza. The crust was very thin and flakey, It was a very busy and fun place to be.

Every time we tried to go here, we had to wait quite a while to order and get a seat. I would rather be waited on by wait staff at my table, but that's not the way it works here. Instead, you order at the counter, then take a seat. If there are no seats available, they give you a buzzing remote, and you can't order until your remote buzzes...meanwhile, you stand around and wait. And wait. And wait.

The menu is on the wall. The names of the menu items are in Italian...so you skip right over them and read the English descriptions underneath; kind of pretentious.

The food was good...not as great as most of the reviewers here gush about. The woodfired treatment brings a nice flavor to the pizzas and calzones, though. They use a lot of fresh veggies you won't find at Pizza Hut.

Tip: Order ahead about 20 min. early and take your meal out to Riverside Park.

Busy little restaurant, great food and plenty of it! Unique solution to those busy nights...when your table is ready, you order as you come in rather than have to wait another 10 minutes to get your good on the way! Innovative, and turns the tables much faster than usual.
