No one should have to pay that much to swim at a city owned swimming pool

The pool is OK, however, it's not that hot- it sits around 98 degrees. The words, "private soaking pool" sounded great, so I opted for them. They are attached to the building... but CREEPY. In the room there are stairs leading down into the pool, there are no faucets, just piping that you turn on with the emergency shut off valves. The paint is an older hospital green color and the lighting is awful. The hot tub at your hotel would be MUCH better. The pool itself is kid friendly, but if you are a solo traveler looking for alluring hot springs, skip this place. It's also pricey, $12 for adults.

I don't get it. After spending piles of cash piping water through insulated pipes from Poncha Springs, not to mention the fact that they rebuilt the roof when it caved in a few years ago after a heavy snowfall, you've essentially got a warm pool inside a gym-like building. Personally, I'd rather go to any of the nearby outside hotsprings because this is a beautiful valley with plenty of amazing views. Most people I know in this valley live here for the surroundings. Build an outside pool...please?

The pool is clean & WARM! I believe the temp was about 98F in the leisure pool & 85F in the lap pool. It is pumped in from the hot springs at about 100F. The leisure pool has a beach-entry/zero-entry and gradually goes up to 4ft. There are a few water fountain type things pumping water up in the air. The kids loved it. Kids can also bring or buy floats to play with in the pool. The lap pool has dedicated lanes, an area for general swimming & an area to dive in from a spring board. The changing rooms were very clean, had private changing areas, toilets & showers. The staff were friendly (lifeguards on duty). Also, there is an outdoor sunning area. It can be a bit pricey for a big family, but well worth it. We were told that we could leave & come back during the day if we wanted to take a break to go out for lunch.
