“Suprisingly good! Would go back!”
Reviewed December 4, 2011

We stayed at Joyful Journey Hot Springs about 15 minutes away and knew we had very few options for dinner when we booked our stay there. We did not expect that we would find such a great little place in Saguache. The service was excellent and the food was great. We had soup, salad, and some fries. All were tasty and we left very satisfied.

“Memorable, diamond in the rough!”
Reviewed November 29, 2011

I was highly skeptical when we drove into Saguache after dark. I'm a city gal and can be highly suspicious of small town restaurants. I really couldn't imagine that there would be a restaurant open in this dark wilderness, much less one that would be tolerable. Then we turned onto 4th Street and saw the lights glowing from this cozy little spot and I just knew it would all be okay.

I loved pretty much everything about this place:

*The ambiance - cozy little diner.
*The food - varied and delicious menu.
* The service - warm, friendly and helpful.

Our entire party loved it so much we returned the next day for breakfast.

Highly recommended!

“Hidden gem in great little town!”
Reviewed August 30, 2011

We had a fabulous lunch in Saguache at the 4th Street Diner. The food was excellent, the owner's who run the place were great. I had a Turkey Sandwich on freshly made bread, which they bake daily at the restaurant. What can I say? It's even worth a diversion!

“One of the best restaurants on our trip”
Reviewed November 13, 2010

We were travelling from Denver to Durango towards the end of October and looking for a place to have lunch. Saguache was about mid way. We came off the main route when we saw the sign 'downtown business district'. Saguache was very quiet but we happened upon this busy little restaurant on 4th street, popular with locals.

The service was very good and food was tasty, home cooked and extremely good value. The restaurant is open for breakfasts and lunches. It had only been open for three months. It was only a few minutes from the main road and well worth stopping for. We hope to return one day.

You won't find the restaurant on streetview yet
