This place was truly a dream come true for our family. The setting is nothing short of stunning. Once you are there, it is well worth the drive to be away from everything but the beautiful trees, lake full of fish, and horseback rides where you never see another soul. Cody and Joe were amazing on our rides, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Every one who works at CLGR is really nice without being in any way cloying or invasive; they are just super nice people that you want to hang out with...even if you are introverts like my family. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this is not your spot: the cabins are very basic. However, it didn't matter a bit to us because we were practically never in them, and it made the whole experience feel even more authentic. My ten-year-old son cried for half an hour when we left, and my husband and I were not doing much better. If being outdoors with your family, seeing beautiful things, being with great people, and eating delicious food are for you, just GO! Best. Vacation. Ever.More
