This place has something for everyone. We went ice skating, then inner tubing. They had 4 runs open and the kids had a blast. They also offered snow shoeing, and cross country skiing. We went on a lovely sleigh ride and had hot chocolate, coffee, tea and cookies waiting for us at the half way mark.
Dinner was wonderful. The food, atmosphere, and staff were wonderful.
The condo we stayed at was clean, and homey. There was plenty of fire wood for us to enjoy a roaring fire in the fireplace.
This is a great place to bring friends and family. Pets are welcome.
I can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Be prepared to have a fun time. There are activities for both summer and winter. It is quiet there...

My husband and I were supposed to get married at Stove Prairie Ranch on Saturday June 30th, 2012 but had to quickly find a new location 3 weeks before our wedding date due to the High Park Fire. We were relieved and so excited when we found out that Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch was available on that same day for our wedding. We were overwhelmed with the wonderful customer service we received from Linda, Pam, David and the rest of the staff. They were so accommodating and really wanted to do their best to make our wedding day special. The scenery at the ceremony site was beautiful. The reception area was great too… a large pavilion with a nice grassy area right outside where our guests mingled during cocktail hour. We hired an outside caterer for dinner, since this is what we had already planned on doing at our original venue, but we did have Beaver Meadows cater our appetizers at our cocktail hour and they were delicious. Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is a wonderful wedding venue and we are truly grateful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable!

We drove to Red Feather Lakes to watch a mountain bike race our daughter was participating in. We had not made a reservation but I was quite sure after the drive from Fort Collins that we did not want to make the drive each day. We stopped in at the front desk at Beaver Meadow, checked out a room in the timber frame building and decided it would work out fine. The whole experience, room, hotel staff, restaurant, all exceeded our expectations, it was a wonderful, relaxing, pleasant stay at the Beaver Meadow Resort Ranch. If your looking for TV, cell phone service, whirlpool tubs, etc., this place is not for you! If you enjoy clean rooms, basic furnishings and a view to die for, this is the place. I enjoyed watch the 20 or so horses grazing in the field each morning and the smell of the wood burning furnace in the restaurant in the cool morning. Lots of hiking, riding, fishing and just getting away from everything. I hope to return next year!

Room Tip: I'd request an upper level room in the timber frame hotel next time or maybe check out one of th...

We held our daughter's wedding in July at Beaver Meadows and it was an exceptional experience. The staff, including David, Pam, & Linda, were great and we would definitely recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding. The weather and scenery were perfect and the staff were always there to answer our questions or help us with an issue. The groom's family were from out of state and they were amazed at the beauty of the area. As long-time vistors to the area, we knew they would like it. Thanks Beaver Meadows.

My daughter's wedding was held at Beaver Meadows. We couldn't have had a better experience. They have a variety of lodging options that suited our needs well. We stayed in a condo that was very comfortable. The first evening we saw moose off of our deck. My parents and other family members stayed in the lodge rooms and were happy with the accommodations. It was so nice to all stay there for a few days. The wedding was beautiful. From the babbling creek to the horse drawn carriage everything was perfect. The reception room was rustic but very pretty. The food was amazing. I heard several people say that the prime rib was the best they had ever had. We were lucky to have nice weather so people could go outside and enjoy the views and come inside to dance and socialize. In the evening we had a campfire. We were able to unwind and visit around the fire and continue being together into the evening. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The next day we all met for breakfast in the restaurant. Those of us that stuck around for another day had fun hiking, horseback riding, or just relaxing. i plan to go back again some time in the winter to try the tubing hill.

Room Tip: Condo 4 was nice. I loved the master bedroom. It was great to have 3 bathrooms with everyone coming...

I took my son to Beaver Meadows to get away from our hectic life in the city. We stayed in a condo for a few nights then in a fantastic cabin for another few nights. The condo had a great kitchen and my son loved the loft. The cabin was rustic and had a great bedroom and bathroom. Also had great views. We loved the awesome hiking trails and the horseback riding. We also flew a kite one morning - great fun! The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We paln to be back very soon!!!

Room Tip: The condo had a full kitchen - everything we needed for an extended stay. Comfortable beds. The ca...
