“Must do when in Vail valley!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

Great local place with tons of local atmosphere. Great margaritas, fish tacos! Try the homemade salsa. They make their own bloody
Mary mix.
The drive from I 70 is stunning and worth the trip alone.

“Great Local Spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

We like to go to local restaurants off the beaten path and this sure fits the bill. It's about a 15-20 minute ride from Beaver Creek. Great views as you wind through the mountains and the last trip direction is "turn left at the Big Rock"--you won't forget it. The server is a native and she was very friendly. The salsa is great and we had to try their signature item--fish tacos. Some of the best I've ever had. Some in our party felt the chicken tacos were better than the fish. We also had an order of wings and the sauces were excellent. It started snowing heavily as we were leaving which made the views on the way back even better. Will make this an annual part of our trip to Beaver Creek.

“Great Food, Cool Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2014

We ate at Mongo's while we were snowmobiling. Perfect spot off the trail to have a really good burger and receive some great service. Food was excellent and it's an overall nice atmosphere. It's pretty much the only place to eat off the trails, unless you travel to Vail or Minturn. Prices weren't too bad. They aren't open for breakfast, but the Green Bridge Inn has burritos from Mango's that are quite good. Overall a good restaurant/bar nestled in a cool town.

“The Only One in Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Very nice place with many different things to choose. They have a nice happy hour and service was great. It could have been a real rip-off as this is the only place in town that we found. However, it was well worth out time and money. The sandwiches were delicious and filling. Nice setting.
