If you like trains this is the caravan park for you. The freight trains run all night, and I mean all night!! If you like your sleep I would suggest you go elsewhere...................................

We stayed for 12 nights and enjoyed having easy access to the Nepean River Walk, 8kms of park and woodland trails with abundant wildlife. It is a 25 minute walk across the bridge to the centre of Penrith and the close proximity to Emu Plains Railway Station makes the Blue Mountains and Sydney very accessible. There are reasonably good pubs and restaurants tucked away in Emu Plains, and the Penrith Regional Gallery is well worth visiting. The holiday village's facilities were reasonably good and the rooms were clean, but the hot water was a bit unreliable.

A delighful stay located directly underneath large power lines and backing onto a water pumping station and railway track. So we had a potential cancer risk to contend with and an incessant humming noise. I slept in the front room and turned on the aircon to try and drown it out. Loud, it was loud! I thought the whole room was throbbing and I can sleep through a lot of noise. Cabins and amenities were average with plenty of signage reminding me that our bargain accommodation only comes with limited toiletries, linen and replacements were going to cost. The decrease volume button on the remote for the tv did not work and the microwave start button required the hulk to press it, but we managed. Rooms were clean and tidy, perhaps people trying to avoid the $25 surcharge. Suffice to say I am glad we only stayed one night, we will not be back. I should mention that we stayed in number 7 and the permanent residents were located further away from the pumping station. You may get lucky and not have the noise issues we suffered.

Nice quiet place, easy to find, very clean and comfortable. Great prices with pool, laundry etc. Wonderful views of the river. We had a very spacious cabin with a little kitchen area plus dining and lounge. Quite a lot of wild life around this area as well which was a nice surprise, waking to native bird song in the mornings. All in all a great place to stay.

Spent two nights with two friends while in Sydney for an event.
Cabin was clean and had all the basics. Only criticisms are the hot water didn't last very long and to gradually try improve soundproofing as the constant trains at night are quite loud.
But all up a hassle free stay.
