Right from the start, my husband and I were warmly welcomed - we were shown around the facilities at Billabong by Basia, who was a real sweetie.
It's in a beautiful bushland, sandstone setting, very like that of the Blue Mountains. The main building housed 2 connected large timber yurts, with a comforting wood fired heater in the middle.
Despite the colder temperatures, we stayed warm, as blankets, cushions and cozy lounges were provided, and all the guests got to know each other well, snuggling round the fire, chatting, while sipping organic teas and coffees. The food was very healthy, very tasty and filling....seconds were encouraged!
Finally, and importantly, the yoga classes were really rewarding and we left enthusiastic to continue the practices taught. We stayed in the Treetop Pavilion which turned a little cool, but that final morning was one of the coldest to date for the year. A heater were provided but we chose not to use it!More
