We we only "passing through" on a trip from Arizona to Estes Park and chose Vistas and Vineyards based on TA reviews. Felix and Donna were excellent hosts, our room was cozy and comfortable, and we had an overall enjoyable stay in Palisades. We followed their well-advised recommendations for drinks, dining, and a hike to Hanging Lake the next morning on our route East. Breakfast was outstanding as well. Oh, and did I mention "the price is right"......

How marvelous to find this property within walking distance of two vineyards and biking distance of many others. I love to be outside, and this place was all about lounging in the shade and watching the ducks, geese, chickens and a turkey on adjacent property. As stated by others, the food was superb and the hosts gracious. Try your skill, or lack of, on the bocci ball court, or lounge with a glass of local wine. Enjoy the Spring Barrel Tasting event, held in April and May, the food and wine pairings were a special treat, and at a good price.

Room Tip: The Tico room was perfect for a girlfriend getaway, spacious and plenty of hanging-around space. The...

We stayed with Felix and Donna recently. They are truly gracious hosts who know the area and help visitors get the most from their time in Palisade. They recommended live music, places to eat, artists and wineries. They led us out to the wild horse range one night and walked with us. They are familiar with X-country skiing and snowshoeing in the area. As others have said breakfast is healthy and delicious and served in a sunny dining room. Felix had no problems with my girl friend's vegetarian diet.

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway. We decided to use a coupon that I had bid on at an auction. Our weekend was fabulous. Felix and Donna are wonderful hosts, make you feel very comfortable and at home. They both make a great breakfast and the coffee and fruit soup are to die for! We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed with Felix and Donna for one short night on a honeymoon trip to Telluride this past September. Location was convenient, room clean and comfortable, and hosts gracious. The value for the money was also incredible. Highlight was the fresh breakfast prepared by Felix the next morning (including the fruit soup!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Tico treasures good for couples!

We had a great time. We were only in town a couple days but the hosts helped us choose the right wineries to go to. The Tico room was great because it had it's own outdoor entrance and was very private. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast, and it was an enjoyable experience. The hosts were nice, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great!

Located right next to Garfield Estates and a quick drive (or bike ride) into town.

Donna and Felix were gracious innkeepers; making us feel instantly welcome. They were very knowledgeable about things to do in neighboring states and we shared many experiences. They also recommended some things that we later enjoyed.
This B&B is their home, but it is roomy and nicely arranged. Our room was great for a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was special and delicious.
We stayed in about a dozen B&Bs during this road trip and while this was not among the prettiest, it was very comfortable and we would use it again.
