If you want a pampered, relaxing vacation, check this place out. Dave and Michelle are gracious and wonderful hosts. Excellent food, great company and a wonderful front porch to relax, visit, eat, this place has it all.

Room Tip: They are all great.

The hosts are generous and laidback, the home is beautiful and has such character. The views are outstanding. Locals stop by and chatted with us which made us feel right at home. The breakfasts of french toast and eggs benedict were to die for, wonderful cooking. Easy to spend all day riding your bike to the river, various parks, wineries and qauint downtown area. The rooms were fresh, clean and a joy to relax in. JH, North Platte, Nebraska PS adults only and a very nice private hot tub

Lovely place filled with fascinating furnishings; warm ample king bed; jacuzzi on the porch; fresh-picked flowers on the table; free wifi; fresh-picked asparagus; excellent omelet for breakfast; great company. Comfortable friendly and elegant place to stay. Convenient to wine country with many amenities all around. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy all the benefits! Host and hostess were wonderful.

Very easy to get to off the highway, beautiful back yard with heaters, tables, grills and a hot tub. very close to the center of town (5 minute bike ride). Michelle and Dave are great.

I was with a group of 9 people (we filled the whole place) Arrived on a Friday night to find Michelle and Dave sitting on the porch with some neighbors. Very welcoming and happy to engage in conversation. The room I had was clean and stocked (the carriage house). We were near a major street, but didn't notice much noise when in the room.

The breakfast was very good (Michelle and Dave are vegetarians, so if you need meat in the morning, you'll have to go elsewhere). I set out Saturday to do some mountain biking in nearby Fruita, then back in the afternoon to do some wine tasting by bike. This place was perfectly located for doing this.

The house, furnishings and grounds are attractive. We found Palisade a wonderful small community, full of friendly folks. We enjoyed the Peach Festival and recommend it.
Unfortunately, our experience at the Wine Valley Inn did not live up to our exceptions. The web site and Tripadvisor reviews touted the innkeepers, Michelle and Dave. We never saw Dave during our four night stay. Michelle made no effort to engage us in conversation, etc after giving us a quick tour when we arrived.
On our first day, my two year old grandson and I had just gotten on the hammock in the back yard, when it gave way. We brought that to Michelle's attention and to our surprise her response was, "I'll have to look into that". She did not ask if either of us had been hurt, even though our grandson was crying.
Our room was not cleaned, bed not made and the soap/shampoo was not restocked throughout our stay! We have stayed in many B&B's and have never had this happen to us.
Breakfast on our first two days was terrific, but when we looked for breakfast on the third day, Michelle left a note on the table stating that it would be "continental" because she had an "appointment" and didn't have time! No apology, etc. We took breakfast elsewhere after that.
We were sorely disappointed with our stay and would not recommend the Wine Valley Inn.
