We had the best getaway weekend. Lucky for us they had a Sat cancellation so we didn't have to leave after one night and go elsewhere (I HAD to stay there at least part of our weekend). Rooms are nicely decorated & quite, I will say the AC could blow you off the chair, but that's OK. Nice views if you have a back facing room. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast was perfect, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, breads, fresh cinnamon rolls, grits & a fruit platter. I was very impressed how often they replenished the breakfast. No scrapping the bottom like some places towards the end of the breakfast time. Free glass of wine 5pm daily for happy hour. Nice porch with rockers and cushioned chairs to sit and relax. Every staff member was a nice as could be. It did have a feel of Napa/Sonoma (but Palisade wine tasting is free. Not pricy like Napa). Palisade has great small local wineries, fruit stands and Co National Monument (who knew!) with beautiful rock formations. This takes about an hour to drive through. The area is a must see vacation or get away spot. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Our room was 3rd floor, in the back with nice east facing views.

It sounds like you had a marvelous time and we appreciate your feedback about your experiences at Wine Country Inn and in the Grand Valley! Thank you for sharing your travel tips for adventures during your stay. We are always happy to help with your planning when you make reservations for your next trip for hikes, day trips and farmer's markets. We look forward to your return soon! A little tip from us to you, week days (Sundays-Thursdays) are usually easier to get a reservation for 2-3 days consecutively. We are also running a special rate for those days during the summer! I hope you will come back soon!

Very nice hotel with a great pool, outstanding views, and great service. The location was ideal for our first time exploring W. Colorado and E. Utah, as it's right by I-76 at the east end of the valley. We'll be staying here again.

Room Tip: The outside rooms view the vineyard, inside rooms view the outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard...

I am a connoisseur of luxury hotels, and this has been my favorite so far... The Wine Country in is a total hidden gem in Palisade, CO! I stayed here randomly on a business trip, because it was actually less expensive to stay here than in Grand Junction (at one of the chain hotels), and I was more than impressed, even just pulling up to the hotel! When you pull up, you feel almost like you are driving through a Napa Valley vineyard (but with a better view). Everything this hotel has to offer is just wonderful, it's hard to put into words!

I was in town alone on business and the staff was so nice; the bartenders in the Lounge chatted me up and made me laugh while I enjoyed the most delicious dinner I've had in a long time.

The rooms we perfectly clean, beautiful, and decorated with old photos of the homesteaders from the area (I'm an old soul and this was very cool). The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were very quiet and peaceful.

The wine was delicious, and available for purchase in their very cute gift shop. A lot of the spirits served in the Lounge are from local breweries, distilleries or wineries and they are delightful (plus they will always let you taste test)!

You do NOT want to come to Colorado without seeing this hotel! Plus there is SO much to do in Palisade! You can do town bike tours, winery tours, the Peach festival, etc. and the hotel has information on everything to do in town.

I will definitely be back time and time again for business and pleasure, this was such an unexpected treat!

Room Tip: Rooms on the main floor have a walk-out patio with white rocking chairs- it's too cool!

We spent 3 nights here while touring the Palisade area. The hotel room was comfortable, the staff welcoming. Convenient that breakfast is included, but was not our favorite. The restaurant for dinner was nice, but pricey. If we come back to Palisade, we would stay here again

This is not a boutique hotel experience, but it is fine for a night exploring wonderful Palisade and the vineyards. The hotel feels a little institutional and its focus is on a fenced in pool rather than the wonderful scenery. Make sure you don't pay over the odds and it's a good base. Palisade is wonderful, hire bikes and explore the vineyards, eating fresh fruit along the way.

The room was large and clean. The bed and pillows are just okay. Breakfast just okay. Front desk staff just not interested in providing good customer service. Not friendly. I left feeling like I should have stayed elsewhere for that amount of money.

We stopped through Palisade for a night on a road trip. The Wine Country Inn was a charming spot near the vineyards. It has a great, relaxing pool area and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. One of the bartenders proudly served us a wine that he helped harvest. It added a very personal touch to the experience. The Brewery was a great spot to relax and is a good place to bring kids. The outdoor patio with hula hoops was a lot of fun. Would recommend a visit to this spot! It's a very unique part of Colorado.
