My wife and I stayed at the Wine Country Inn for one night on our way to Arizona from Windsor, Colorado. We were extremely pleased that we did as we had enough time to visit several local wineries prior to checking in.
We were greeted quickly by the front desk personnel upon check-in and although we booked the last room available for the evening (nurse convention), we got a junior suite located in a side building. There was a wrap around porch just outside of our room with rocking chairs where we enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine. Although the highway is close to the inn, we did not hear any noise. I would highly recommend a room in that side building (next to the vineyard).
Finally, we ate dinner at the small restaurant (Caroline's) and our meals were cooked to perfection and wonderful. If you stay, make reservations early.
We will definitely return to the inn for more than a one night stay.

Room Tip: Side building (2 floors) or back of 3 story building.

This is the best place to stay in the Palisade area. It is a beautiful property amongst the area vineyards, and a fantastic locale for those touring the local vineyards. The rooms were spacious and nice (except for the awkward sliding door to the bathroom which also covered the closet when opened the other way, so somewhat of a safety hazard if someone was using the closet and the bathroom at the same time), The complimentary breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the wine tasting each evening was a nice touch. Reserve ahead and the price is very reasonable too.

The Wine Country Inn is a great place to stay. They have very nice rooms and a Great restaurant. Wine tasting in the afternoon and a really good free breakfast. If you are there during the peach season be sure to get the Palisade peaches. They are hard to beat. There is a vineyard right on the grounds and they serve their own wine at the restaurant. The wines are very good. The guy that serves the wine at the evening tasting has been there ever since the place opened.

Great location for touring Colorado wine country. Rooms were great and staff was great. On premises dining is not adequate for number of rooms, but food is excellent. Complimentary glass of wine and good business center.

The hotel's location is great for touring wine country and close enough to tour Rocky Mountain National Monument and Arches National Park. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff is friendly and helfpul. The food is great in both Caroline's and the Tapestry Lounge. The quality of the breakfast reminded us of a B & B experience, which we enjoy, but the atmosphere here was strange. We found most of the guests to be unfriendly towards other guests, ignoring others and refusing to share tables at breakfast where tables are at a premium. Perhaps the management could encourage guests to share tables by arranging tables differently and actively informing guests that table sharing is OK. Despite that observation, the inn is a wonderful place to stay.

First time attending the Palisade Peach festival and was meeting family from New Mexico. This Inn was well maintained, beautiful and the location couldn't have been any better. The evening wine reception was attended by our family and what a great stress reliever from the day's events. The staff was very personable and check-in was quick. The room and bedding was very comfortable. Although there was a wedding there, you didn't feel cramped. High recommend this Inn anytime you are in the Grand Junction area. We will stay again!!!!

Room Tip: Our room faced the parking lot. Our other family members had a room facing the pool area. Would su...

This is my second visit to Wine Country Inn and it was even better than last year. Every employee is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotless. Pool is crystal clear. Had the bbq pork sandwich while listening to the live music poolside. Great. Joe the manager is the best! Bring a bike and cruise the area. :)

Room Tip: Had the corner room the last two stays and it was great. Nice views. Next year opting for a room w...
