Stopped in for a full body massage after hiking one day in the San Juan National Forest - amazing. Try it for a relaxing, stress free experience...

I walked through Healing Waters and everything looked old and rundown. Most of the people there were old and I didn't see any children.

Went with a lady friend and what a waste of time. Big swimming pool full of kids. One outdoor tub that was full and the water was luke warm. There was a pool off the men's bathhouse that was 108 but it didn't connect with the women's side so you can't even be together. $10 a person for this is almost criminal. Go across the street to the Hot Springs. It might be $14 a person but you have plenty of pools and you can get a beer, too.

So, this place is definitely not nearly up to the fanciness that is the springs resort, but frankly, we really enjoyed our time there. My mother took advantage of their massage services and said it was fantastic and we enjoyed their numerous pool options. It was a great, cheap experience that didn't break the bank. I just cannot imagine paying the springs prices, so this place was great for us.

I would love to say that the Healing Waters Resort and Spa is up to the service and product experience of the Springs Resort, but that would not be true. However, if you are on a budget and are not expecting a "high end" hot springs experience, or are put off a bit by the Springs Resort's air of being "so special" -then maybe the Healing Waters is for you.
